sounds like the BULK OF THEIR attention is on the ’Wildcat’ March…and since the ’state’ is more interested in protecting ’property’ than people…the wildcat marchers need to be advised..

Excellent point about NYPD protecting property before the people (and esp. before protecting our rights!), BTW.

OccupyWallStreet.net has launched!
Home | OCCUPY WALL STREETOccupyWallStreet.net is brought to you by the NYC General Assembly to provide news, information and inspiration from the occupations of Wall Street and around the world.-
Sorry to sound like a downer about this,
but it is My understanding from several
Sources that the NYCGA has been ”dissolved”,
NOT my opinion. If this is an accurate statement,
then how can any web-site represent an entity
that no longer exists?-
these are the vestiges and the friendships formed online are different from those on the ground!
-
WE, as viewers and more so posters to this site validate its existence, whether or not functionality of the NYC General Assembly was compromised has little to do with the resultant groups and networks which it directly and indirectly helped spawn (see: http://www.occupywallstreet.net/ ), the new outward looking site should help to clarify to…[Read more]

Tonight at 60 Wall Street a group came to the G.A. that wanted to start a new Working Group called ”Occupy Deserts”.
They want to bring a table of baked goods to union square, etc. If Tech Ops is no longer adding Working Groups to NYCGA.net, what should we tell them?- No new working groups are being added? Where should we send them?
I can’t tell anyone what they have to do, but I would certainly recommend working with the Kitchen group in that particular case.
