• Two models: 1. Go to communities & ask what they want to learn & 2.
Offer what we want and invite people to attend

• detect situations/conditions
• problematize the system
• Labor contexts
Suggestion to proceed: break into task forces and match goals with
next steps for each goal
TASK FORCES
1. Researching/critiquing prominent models for what the NU could be &
models we don’t want it to be
2. Labor contexts / Community
3. Definitions and concepts
4. OWS principles/NU goals – develop curricula that support the
movement AND NU goals
Proposed task force but not yet approved to form:
Partnerships – reaching out, bringing allies, making sure this is a
collective project
All task forces will
Operate under the guidelines of drafting what we want as well as what
we don’t want
