Next Actions-OSR, Monsanto, Trip to Albany,  Anti-Ticket Quota- Action -Date for Action-June 7, 2013@Zuccotti. Debate outline tabled

Goals of OWS (Occu-Evolve)-tabled-

Discussion- Re-Occupation of Zuccotti, OWS Assembly,Group also discussed and consented on making key decisions for OE at Assembly and not via listserve.

22.45$ collected-toward weekly Metrocard

Present Issues of focus:

Civil-Human Rights-Stop and Frisk (Health Care, Housing and Education) –Works on issues related to stop and frisk, civil and human rights across the city.(Internationally)-Ale and Julie, Ms. Kay

Money out of Politics- Works with OWS Money out of Politics group as well as Money Out/Voters in Affinity Group to get Money out of politics and end corporate personhood. –Barbara?

The Environment-From  Occupy The Spectra Pipeline to other issues affecting our environment-Carlos

Community Assemblies-Develops more COMMUNITY based assemblies in all communities in general and particularly working class and communities of color specifically. Working with existing Occupy Assemblies to increase diversity and a community base as well as Community Based Organizations already in existence-Sumumba , Carlos, Marty, Omar

Labor-Works on Current labor struggles works with (Labor Outreach Committee) Current Labor issues include: Golden Farm, Fast Food Workers, Walmart, Labor and Sandy and others.-LOC

Standing Committees of Occu-Evolve (Consented 12-14-12):

*Political Education/Historical Committee-responsible for creation of outreach materials-visions and goals-as consented by Assembly-Sumumba, Omar, Marty

*Outreach Committee-Responsible for duplication of outreach materials and bottom lining outreach, speakers. Including Social Media- Bill S.I.

*Action/Event Committee-responsible for organizing actions (staffing) and/or meeting spaces –Bill S.I.

*Data Entry/Archiving/Record Keeping Committee -Responsible for minutes, archiving group’s work-Sumumba

*Accounting Committee-fundraising –outreach, supporting Full-Time Occupiers, Occupations, fees to use for actions and or meetings- Sumumba, Yogi, and Malu

NOTE: All committees constitute the central committee which initiates proposals and decisions based on our values, ethics, collective agreements and mission statement and are ultimately answerable to the entire assembly.

Upcoming/Movement Building Meetings and Actions: Building with other groups. Ms. Kay brought information about Succession from NYCHA and a Manhattan Borough President debate. Jackie also mentioned about PSC and Labor meetings around the Mayoral Elections in November. Bill Johnsen will continue his Saturday Outreach and Occupy Sandy Resistance efforts

Open Discussion-Black is Back Coalition spoken of at length by various members of OE as well as surrounding issues. Proposal tabled for further discussion. Ms Kay also discussed upcoming NYCHA and Succession actions. Also discussion on whether OE would support 99 Pickets actions on labor discussed, general consensus is we would but would have our own outreach materials at actions
