A gathering/teach-in for everyone and anyone (of course) but I very much wish to interact with activists who are not yet vegan and vegans who are not activists. If that’s you – or anyone you know – please mark Jan. 27 on your calendar:
Join NYC’s own Mickey Z. – vegan, activist, occupier, photographer, and author of 11 books – for an urgent call-to-arms on post-Sandy life (followed by Q&A/discussion)
Here’s the equation:
Greenhouse gases contribute to climate change. Climate change contributed to the impact and aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. The number one cause of human-created greenhouse gases is the global animal by-products industry.
Here’s the question:
If you’re already working to dismantle corporate power, expand freedoms, and create a safer, more sane culture, why not take things even further and recognize that the mighty 99% also includes non-human animals—and the entire ecosystem itself?
Never been to a Mickey Z. event? Well, check your expectations at the door and prepare for a trip well beyond the accepted parameters of the corporate agenda.
Spread the word, bring friends, bring enemies to the organic, vegan, non-GMO:
