An Open Meeting for Internal Planning and Coordination

Please note the update location!

There are so many people and groups in the Occupy Wall Street ecosystem that are doing fantastic work. We learn about many of these projects as they’re happening or the day after.

Let’s find out WHO is doing WHAT actions and events — well ahead of time!

We can avoid double-booking, identify areas of similarity and strength, connect one project’s “needs” with another’s “services,” and plan for momentum throughout the movement!

We can also serve as a focused incubation chamber for NEW ideas, strategize for the long term, and reflect upon our successes and failures so we can keep building and growing.

Come prepared to write down whatever you or your group are working on, whether it is EARLY or LATE in the planning process.

The ideas and events brought up will shape the agenda for the rest of the meeting.

Come with:

  • Calendar events, projects, and actions in any state of development
  • Goals/Plans, Needs, and Next Steps from your groups/projects
  • Food, drinks, & snacks to share
  • Laptop, paper, or stuff you need to get to work.

Please share both this link & the FB event

The powers that be have now moved this mass meeting along with so many others to Brooklyn… Why not call it Occupy Brooklyn? Wouldn’t it be more accurate?… Did anyone consider how such a change of venue would effect others who have extensive travel times and or mobility issues… and it aint just me…

That was a temporary move due in part to a loss of our previous venue at OSA in Manhattan. On December 3rd it will be at 33 W 14th St. in Manhattan.

I know there are people working on finding a permanent home that is central and also accessible. Please let me know if you want to help and I’ll make sure you get in touch.
