JOIN US IN COURT & HOLD NYPD OFFICER RICHARD HASTE ACCOUNTABLE FOR HIS ACTIONS
Ramarley Graham was an 18 year old unarmed Black male who was murdered by NYPD Officer Richard Haste in front of his grandmother and 6 year old brother in the bathroom of his family’s home on February 2, 2012. The NYPD Officer Richard Haste who executed Ramarley was charged with manslaughter, but other members of his team that were involved in the illegal entry of Graham’s apartment have not been charged.
From Lichi Damelio:
Today’s news from the Haste hearing is not good. The long and short of it is that the Judge is threatening to throw out the indictment. After all the work it took to win an indictment against a cop in the first place! Ramarley’s family is devastated. If he throws out the indictment, that means we gotta start from scratch. They will reconvene next WEDNESDAY MAY 15 at 8:30. Everyone in NYC or the surrounding areas should come out on that day to support the family and let the judge know this will not stand! We WON our indictment already!!! NOW WE WANT A CONVICTION! JUSTICE FOR RAMARLEY! JUSTICE FOR ALL VICTIMS OF POLICE MURDER AND BRUTALITY!
