From Zuccotti Park to the African Burial Ground-Occupy Wall Street commemorates the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington

Join Occupy Wall Street as we commemorate the 50th Anniversary of The March on Washington with a march from Zuccotti Park to The African Burial Ground, where we will pay homage to the Africans who in large part built Wall Street and Lower Manhattan.

We will also have a speakout and recite excerpts from the March as well as words from Medgar Evers and other civil and human rights pioneers of that day and era.

I would like to see us go to the Capitol and occupy all the embassies there, and ask for political asylum on the following grounds: relentless spying by our government, the world’s largest (profit-making) prison industrial complex, debt enslavement of the populace with usurious interest rates, taxes that go to undeclared wars and earth destroying industries, corrupt government run by secret cabals, government-sponsored terrorism at home (9/11 cover-up), etc.
