A little about the project:
The Vagina Monologues is a performance piece created by Eve Ensler, which includes a series of monologues based on interviews that Eve did with women all over the country and world, about their varied experiences of the joy,
violence, humor, and grief involved in being a woman. We are hoping to involve a diverse group of women and female identified individuals in both the production of the V. Monologues, and the broader outreach and awareness raising efforts around Vday. V-Day is a global activist movement to end violence against women and girls. V-Day is a catalyst that promotes creative events to increase awareness, raise money, and revitalize the spirit of existing anti-violence organizations. V-Day generates broader attention for the fight to stop violence against women and girls, including rape, battery, incest, female genital mutilation (FGM), and sex slavery.
