*Housing WG proposal: Requesting GA approval for 30 metrocards returned to Finance, 100 new unlimited 7-day metrocards for this week, $2,900. Distribution the same as before. Accepted friendly amendments: Add 100 new unlimited 7-day metrocards for next week, an additional $2,900. RESULT: CONSENSUS
*Occupy Newark proposal: $10,000 to help with their encampment. RESULT: CONSENSUS
*Resolution to End Corporate Personhood proposal: Gain GA endorsement for a statement (link here) regarding ending corporate personhood. Accepted friendly amendment: Change verbiage of “Occupy Wall Street” to “General Assembly of New York.” RESULT: CONSENSUS
*Strong Women Rules WG proposal: Perform an external audit of our finances to avoid IRS interest at tax time. RESULT: TABLED
*Occupy the NH Primary: $1900 for transport / food fo people up to NH for direct actions related to the primaries, with a donation to Occupy NH. RESULT: CONSENSUS
*J17: Gain GA support, but not solidarity, for J17 events going on in Washington, DC. RESULT: NOT PASSED.
