SUMMARY

- Working Group Report Backs

*Housing: Hotline for space in churches is 916-538-1466. Also, proposed funds consensed upon last night will not be released until church needs are made transparent.

*Trade Justice: Many actions in last month targeting politicians supporting free trade agreements; working in solidarity with Korean movements to oppose Korean free trade agreement; check out tradejustic.nycga.net.

 

- Proposals

*Emergency proposal from OccupyATL: $1500 for bail funds. RESULT: CONSENSUS

*Emergency proposal from Duggers: $25,000 to launch a national ballot initiative campaign, hire direct marketing internet company to help get ten million American voters online., RESULT: NO CONSENSUS

*Constitution WG: Seeking solidarity of OWS on seven first amendment petitions. (Note: proposal was just to get printed copies out to everyone for a one week review. No consensus process needed.)

*Tech Ops: Proposes OWS consense on a statement expressing opposition to the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and the PROTECT IP act. RESULT: CONSENSUS

*Occupy477: $2,000 for repairs and construction to improve housing, including bunks and desks. RESULT: CONSENSUS

*Visions and Goals: Handed out a Vision statement, requesting feedback via breakout groups.

*Alternative Banking: Discussion on attributes we want to see in banks.

*Sean: Proposed GA empower Spokes Council as currently formed to make up to $5,000 in financial decisions at each meeting, strictly for operational costs to emergency state of OWS and it’s occupiers, such as housing, food, supply, transportation and similar needs currently being underserviced. RESULT: TABLED

 

- Announcements

*Dec 8th, 4pm, Foley Square march to City Hall to ask Mayor Bloomberg for his resignation

*Proposal being drafted to making proposing easier for proposers, talk to Stefano and come to Faciliation meeting at 60 Wall St, 4pm
