– First and foremost: Wednesday’s Spokes Council will be replaced by an OWS Organizers Workshop at Unity HallOrganizing through a Racial Justice Framework.

– The Council was facilitated by Star Hawk, visiting from CA, who suggested we started with a 15 minute open assembly:
  • A code of conduct for Spokes Council was proposed given the frequent interruption due to misconduct.
  • Concerns were raised about the fact that many occupiers are not able to find out about meetings given that they do not have internet access or cell phones.
  • There were concerns expressed about filming by independent videographers.
  • Concerns about the process were also voiced.
– Spokes begun their reports after the open assembly was closed:
  • Accounting reported that there are $374,722.57 in the bank.
  • Tech announced a new toll free voice service (855-203-7763) where people can find out about about OWS events. Those who have their phone numbers on their NYCGA profile will be able to receive personalized announcement pertaining to their WG.

  • Facilitation has now a form where people who cannot attend Facilitation meetings but still want to facilitate can submit their information.
  • Com Cluster meets on Monday and Thursday 2-4 p.m.
