- Working Group Report Backs

*POCC: Creating a living document draft bringing up many issues, will present it next Wednesday

*SaferSpaces: Working on a community agreement

*Direct Action: Wintergardens probably not a safe place to meet, twenty-five cops approached them as they met there today

*Volunteer Services: May change their name since everyone at Occupy is a volunteer; working with Tech Ops to create a listserv for people all over to communicate

*Strong Women Rule: Park Slope Housing just became a working group

*Allies: Working on recognizing racism effects in OWS

*Music: Working on a summer musical occupy festival

*ThinkTank: Working on doing mobile think tanks at museums and other places

*Facilitation: Tomorrow’s GA will discuss $160,000 worth of proposals, be there!

*Accounting: Proposing $100,000 bail fund tomorrow at GA; also, about $7,000 came in in donations this week and we spent $7,000. Have receipts, see them to learn how money is being spent

*Planning: Working on getting army tents back; also, meeting on Wednesday, 5-7pm, will discuss law and order stuff

*Printing: Has a printing budget, e-mail them for printing needs

*Housing: Meeting place has changed, Staten Island Ferry at 3:30pm, every day

    While I am all about getting all up in Brookfield’s OODA loop and such, have to concur that Winter Garden is probably not where we want to be unless actively seeking to butt heads with Brookfield goon squad and the NYPD.

    May I suggest meeting at 180 Maiden over by the Seaport instead? Just a thought.
