As you have surely noticed by now, we have rolled out a new look and feel for NYCGA.net. This is the result of lots of hard work and collaboration between the Internet Working Group and the Design Group. We feel it is a much cleaner, sharper, and fresher look for the site and we hope you’ll agree. Some of our favorite new aspects of the refresh are:
- The Groups Directory is now laid out in a much more easily browse-able list view. You can see 30 groups per page and they are listed in a nice orderly way with much more reasonably-sized icons. This was one of our most frequently requested changes and we’re very glad to be able to deliver on it. Remember, too, that you can sort the group directory by a wide range of sort options (alphabetical, by member count, by newest created, and by recently active). These are available via the drop-down in the top right corner of that page.
- A new, more unified color scheme for the whole site.
- A new header image and main navigation bar that makes it more clear which menus are drop-downs and which are intended to be clicked directly.
Overall, Everything should be in pretty much the same place it was before, but now it’s prettier and hopefully easier to use and navigate! Enjoy!
