Volunteer services has secured office space that was donated from Harlem. We intend to use this space for a full time volunteer operational center in which working groups will contact us for volunteer needs. We will also be housing a working division of volunteers to operate emergency housing hotlines to address immediate housing needs of our occupiers. This basement facility of roughly 1000 square feet will need to acquire desks, chairs, computers, office supplies, printers, fax machines, and other essential items to operate this facility on a full-time basis. We’re asking for an allowance for $700.00 for this equipment for which we will provide receipts.
