Well finally it seems you might be getting your act together. But we will wait and see.

  2. John Paul

Are all the tweets for all of the meetings of the spokescouncil on one website?

  3. Zoë

John Paul, no, they’re currently googledocs that someone creates for each meeting’s livetweet compilations.

    Spokes council 11/28/11

Before the Spokes meeting I attended the latter half of CT Butlers talk on
consensus, WOW! I recommend y’all check out his info on consensus,
especially the difference between the concept of Value Based consensus
and Power based consensus. OWS currently uses a Power base model.
I attempted to attend the Spokes council last night to observe and be
present for A&C, however I have nothing to report back. Due to
presence of photojournalists and videographers covering the meeting, I
chose to leave(unfortunately I did not have sunglasses on me) . I
am not comfortable with bright lights and cameras in such situations,
I personally feel these meetings should be public private and closed
to all media except OWS documentary team, yes transparency is good,
but feeling the environment is safe and oh…security culture is good
too. Read more here about Security Culture>
I am also personally concerned about how our photos are used by the
media, how my face will be used to rep the movement; for example, will
the comments next to the photo be disparaging or supportive? The other problem
with media presence is sometimes folks might become more concerned with
‘playing to the camera’ as opposed to being truly present to the process and participants.
The meeting started off with a lot of chaos, LOL! Before i left the
chaos mellowed and people seemed to be getting down to bizz.
